2.2. Performance Database PDB
The PDB is the central storage location for all collected monitoring data. By storing the monitoring data in a database, S4DBs also supports historical analyzes.
The PDB is the only data source for the S4DBs Web Frontend, which visualizes the data and prepares it for analysis. The underlying data model of the PDB has been published and thus provides an open interface to the organized performance data. External applications can directly access the tables within the PDB.
